Tributes

Tributes

Some of life’s moments are just too special to live only once. It might be laughter, gasps, or tears; but you can only underestimate the emotional charge when cherished photos are coupled with select music, appropriate transitions, and a few visual effects. Spirits soar, hearts warm, giggles erupt. We don’t know just why it happens; but we love to make it happen.

For office parties, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, or virtually any occasion, we can choreograph your photos with your favorite music selections into a keepsake video so you can relive and celebrate those times over and over. Have a more practical job in mind? The same techniques, combined with narration, can make very effective documentaries, or even instructional or training videos.

Just let us know your particular needs, and we can produce that emotional charge you are looking for. You supply us with photos, slides, and scrapbook items of the person you what to honor or roast and we can put together a tribute that is truly a unique gift. Need help organizing your project?

See tips below

You are the director! We can incorporate your old home movies, photos, slides, and family videos. We mix your music and graphics to create a unique video tribute. These are priced on the complexity of the project, so give us a call and we will be happy to discuss your project.

Organizational Tips for your Photo Tribute

1. Organize the pictures in the order you want them to appear and number them on the back either with a pencil, quick drying pen or a post-it type note you can write the number on.

Don’t use a regular ink pen because the ink can transfer to the other photos

Tip -Try to choose pictures that are horizontal (wider than they are tall) because they more closely fit your television screen. If a picture needs special cropping, such as a person you don’t want in the picture, cover that person with a post-it type note, or make sure you let us know when you bring it in. We can also use announcements, clippings and other memorabilia.

2. You will need to provide us with the music you want to use. Using the numbers on the pictures list which songs go with numbered pictures. The average time that each picture stays on the screen is as little as 3 and usually not longer than 6 seconds depending on the music, subject matter and theme of the project. Songs can be shortened or in some cases lengthened to fit your pictures.

3. Next, you’ll need to come up with a simple beginning and or ending title if so desired. Then bring your photos, music and instruction list to Action Video. The rest is up to us.

We ask that you allow two weeks for us to get the project done. It doesn’t actually take us two weeks to complete it, but it allows us to get the jobs done in the order they come in. If we do finish the order before that two week period, we call you and let you know it is done. If you can’t wait the two weeks, we may be able to have someone work overtime for an additional charge to place your order ahead of everyone else’s. Make sure to tell us if it is a surprise, so when we call to let you know it’s finished we don’t spoil the surprise.
